a second teal rose back chair

Since everyone seemed to love my first teal Tell City chair (see here), I decided to create a second chair.  This chair is a slightly different style than the first and I also upholstered the seat in different fabric (I like variety).

I sanded, primed, and painted the chair a cool lagoon teal blue color.  Then I black antique glazed the flower detail to make it pop!

The seat got new foam and bating before being reupholstered in a Chocolate/Natural Suzani fabric by Premier Prints.  The fabric has a vibrant suzani inspired modern floral pattern featuring bright teal, green, and cream colors on a chocolate brown background.

Lastly, the wood has been finished with a glossy clear coat enamel and the fabric treated with Scotch Guard to ensure the chair remains beautiful for many years to come.  I love how it turned out and I'm sure I'll find the right home for it.  :)
