Dark Citron is a vibrant green/ yellow color. It reminds me of a juicy Granny Smith apple or a freshly cut lime. Use this color as an accent in your home to breathe some summer into your space. window memo board

Yup, this was my mini project for today.

I found a pair of vintage windows at our neighborhood's garage sale this morning.  I knew I could do something "cool" with them, so I snagged them up right away.

I cleaned them up and painted the back of the glass with some leftover living room paint.  I then strung some ribbon in a pretty criss-cross pattern.

picture frames

No, I haven't gone crazy.  I found these beautiful ornate picture frames and just had to have them.  They were dull and boring, but I knew I could fix that.  So I took a break from chairs to work on these frames.  I painted each one a fun, vibrant color and then antiqued them with black glaze to make all of the details pop!  They are very heavy (made of resin) and so unique.

Yes, paint did just the trick! :)  I painted these chairs a beautiful leaf green color and then coated them with glossy clear enamel for added durability.

Wouldn't they look stunning around a small table?!  Just lovely.  :)

the "Packer" chairs

Wooohoooo!!  I have my first project!  :)

I found this pair of mid century modern chairs on craigslist.  I'm not sure why one is yellow and the other is green.  Maybe they belonged to a Packer fan (that's my husband's theory).

These are really lovely chairs, just in need of a little makeover.  I love the clean lines and simplicity.  My current plan is to sand and stain the wood and reupholster the back and seat in some pretty ikat fabric.

I am so excited.  Let the fun begin...
